Modernism Week in Palm Springs

Sunny Palm Springs, California is the right place to be in the middle of February. The city is gearing up for Modernism Week, from February 16-26, 2012. If you live in a house built in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, this eleven day celebration will put your home in perspective with designs of the period.

The coveted tours of the cliffside Frey House II are hard to get, but it's not too late to make your reservation to see other mid-century wonders. Don't you just love those Alexander homes with their quirky butterfly roofs?
